Art exhibition bans sculpture because it shows a man's chest

Yes, if you can believe it, they still claim that Australian society is liberal. Saudi Arabia and Dubai have art galleries where this sort of sculpture would be allowed, but not in 'multi-cultural' Australia. As Summit News recounts:

A sculpture of a man’s bare chest was banned from an art exhibit in Australia because the organizers feared nudity may offend people from other cultures and religions. 

Sculptor Alan Goedecke, who describes the piece as “traditional” and “tame,” was told by organizers of the Melbourne event that the bust “has nipples on it, you can see what gender it is so therefore it’s banned.” 

The owner of Collins Square, where the work would have been exhibited, said it was banned because, “More than 20,000 workers and families from a wide variety of cultures and religious beliefs visit Collins Square every day” and that “the association agreed to no nudity, no political statements, no racism.”

So multi-culturalism means banning anything that offends a single culture.

This is not liberalism, by the way. Liberalism, we have been told, involves tolerance of other cultures. Not bans. If someone is offended, that's the price to pay for living in a liberal society.

Imagine running a restaurant this way: Hindus don't approve of eating cows, so no hamburgers. Muslims don't approve of eating pork. Jainists don't agree with eating any form of animal, which means only a small selection of vegetables (and nothing involving pulling the plant up by the roots).

This, of course, is not 'enriching' a culture. When you cannot show a statute that is the epitome of western sculpture, you have LOST something in your culture.

One might argue that this is a smaller exhibit and that the state is not involved, but it indicates a change in the prevailing cultural attitudes.

Dusseldorf swimming pool introduces ID checks

Faced with a slew of attacks by migrant youth, a Dusseldorf swimming pool is trying to ameliorate the situation by implementing strict ID checks upon entry. Infowars translates the story:

Following a crisis summit between administrators, the mayor and the police chief, an online ticket system linked to people’s IDs has been established to control who is allowed to enter the pool.

Germany's population grew 2 million, despite negative birth rate

How is this possible? German news media explains:

Despite a death rate higher than its birth rate, Germany managed to grow by two million people in two years due to high levels of immigration, statistics released on Tuesday showed. 

Immigration outstripped emigration by 1.15 million in 2015, slowing slightly to 500,000 in 2016. That accounted for a rise in the total population by around 2 million inhabitants in a three-year period.

What groups are the largest immigrants?

Romanians made up the biggest group of immigrants into Germany in the year 2016, the last year for which there are definitive numbers. In that year 222,300 Romanians moved to the Bundesrepublik. 

Syrians (179,000) and Poles (161,000) also migrated to Germany in large numbers in 2016. 

Interestingly, Germans migrated to Deutschland in the fourth largest numbers - a figure destatis explains through the fact that some 146,000 Germans either move back after periods abroad or were ethnic Germans who grew up elsewhere.

It's odd that there are no figures for Turks, Arabs, Somalis, Afghans, etc.

Germany's spiraling housing crisis

DW details a staggering rise in homelessness amidst a worsening housing crunch:

Around 650,000 people in Germany are without a permanent home, according to figures released by the Federal Association for Assistance to Homeless People (BAGW) on Tuesday.

Migrants, of course, are a major component of this demographic:

Around 375,000 asylum seekers and refugees in temporary accommodation are included in the total number.

And what is the cause?

Why the increase? Not enough houses are being built, the BAGW argued, saying in the report that: "We need between 80,000 and 100,000 new council flats every year, and another 100,000 new affordable apartments." Germany is short of around two million houses, the report added. 

This seems odd. The German birthrate isn't positive, meaning that the increase in population is likely due to migration. Albeit the report does mention a rural/urban divide:

Cities including Berlin, Frankfurt and Heidelberg suffer from a severe lack of housing, the German Economic Institute said earlier in July. Meanwhile many rural houses stand empty. 

And in the very same newspaper.... gang rapes

What a lovely country. The very same newspaper has a story on a woman being gang raped by four strangers in some area of Stockholm.

The victim is reported to be a young woman of 25 years... the rape must have been carried out during the night to Sunday sometime between 02.45-04.50. In the investigation, the police suspect that there have been four men who raped the woman. The victim must have been taken to hospital after the incident.

I think we all know what the 'men' looked like.

And another one:  ten men accused of gang rape in Pitea.

It now emerges that as many as ten men must have been involved in the rape, according to SVT Norrbotten. However, the police have no identities on the men.

Of course. No identities. As if the girl can't identify the race of the attackers to help narrow down the search.

There's also a story on a stabbing in Stockholm, and another about two bombs and one shooting in another city.

What kind of country is this? All in the same day??? How many gang rapes are taking place in Sweden?

Migrants setting cars (and almost a villa) ablaze in Sweden

Utterly predictable, if you look at what these third world parasites do in France. Swedish media reports on a string of car burnings, which are a nightly occurrence in major cities.

In the summer, cars have been burning in Skåne almost every night. 

Burning cars. I am willing to bet my life savings that deliberate car burnings never happened in Sweden prior to the 1980s. Just like violent gang rape, they are a consequence of immigration policies.

Last summer, more than 100 cars were burned in a single night. The benefits of diversity.

Another diversity benefit from Germany. A black man originally from Eritrea deliberately pushed a mother and her child in front of an oncoming train. The child was killed instantly, but the mother survived. Perhaps she wished she hadn't.
