Our old friend Bernie Farber of the Canadian Anti-Hate Network is back in the news again, appearing as a commentator on a story about fires at an infamous Toronto hotel. Apparently a woman dressed in black may have entered the hotel in order to set a rather ineffective fire:
The implication, of course, is that this person wanted to destroy the hotel due to the fact that it is housing ill-mannered asylum seekers at taxpayers' expense. Oddly enough, the individual did a pretty poor job of torching the place, choosing to burn a part of the hotel's rugs instead of spreading gasoline on the walls.
Mario Calla of COSTI, "an agency responsible for the irregular migrants", quickly provided some commentary. He berated 'right wing extremists' and 'white supremacists' for their attacks.
But wait! What is this term 'irregular migrant'?? These people are more accurately described as 'illegal border crossers', or 'asylum seekers who entered the country illegally'.
Said Mayor John Tory: "I can’t imagine how cruel and evil a person has to be to knowingly light a fire inside a hotel while people are sleeping."
Well, he might want to ask some of these migrants, who have all been caught setting fire to their own migrant shelters (in which people were sleeping):
- migrants burn down migrant center in Germany, causing 10 million euros in damage.
- syrian migrant in Germany tries to burn down his refugee center in order to blame neo-nazis.
Tory continued: “I know the vast majority of Toronto residents and Canadians wish them absolutely no harm. Every person in Canada has a right to feel safe and should not fear for their safety.”
There is no 'right to feel safe'. Such a right is impossible. Tory has clearly not thought this through.
“The xenophobic and racist discourse that has been amplified over the past months must stop,” said Debbie Douglas of OCASI, which appears to be some tax grubbing agency that fronts for immigrant resettlement groups. “There must be a clear and unequivocal condemnation of these sentiments and actions from our political and civic leaders.”
So Debbie Douglas believes that an ineffective fire in a hotel is grounds for political suppression of dissenting opinions on immigration. How convenient.
This brings us to our good old friend, Bernie Farber, chair of the Canadian Anti-Hate Network. He states: “We have a premier who posed with a far-right mayoral candidate and wants people to believe that this (irregular migration) is a big problem and calls it illegal migration"
Let's see, Bernie:- That 'far right' candidate hangs out with the Jewish Defence League, which is a Jewish extremist organization. She is not a white nationalist.
- A LOT of people believe the illegal border crossers are a big problem. According to the Huffington Post, 67% of Canadians think the illegal border crossings are a 'crisis'.
- Crossing the border illegally invites the use of the term 'illegal migration'. Making an asylum claim is not illegal, but crossing the border without permission certainly is.
- It is mass immigration and diversity that destroys social cohesion. Just look at history, or go read the research of people like Dr. Robert Putnam.
- Faith Goldy is not a white nationalist.
- The Chinese-Canadians protesting illegal border jumpers are not white nationalists.
- In fact, it is rather difficult to find prominent white nationalists in Canada these days. Where are they, exactly? Ricardo Duschene is probably the only major figure I can think of.
The article fails to cover the (Jewish) Rebel Media's findings that refugees ARE damaging the hotels, mistreating staff, etc. The Rebel obtained emails through FOI requests, rather than relying upon TripAdvisor.
