Left wing activist Nora Loreto, who came to fame after she made some rather ill-timed remarks about the hockey team killed in a horrific traffic accident, has decided to reveal her true colors by sympathizing with a man who attacked a female anti-abortion protester.
Video of the attack can be seen on YouTube. You'll note that the purple-clad creep is evidently unaware of the intentional torts, as he goes around pawing at the various women who are holding signs. The then follows that up with a unique form of kicking technique that knocks one woman on the shoulder.
A group of feminist counter-protesters on the other side of the street condemned the act, but that didn't stop intrepid Nora Loreto from advocating violence against women. Apparently the consequences to women that might arise from some future repeal of abortion rights magically overrides criminal and civil law (not to mention feminist principles).
It's always nice when a fanatic shows their true colours. She later referred to the Christian protester as 'far right', which says a lot more about her Manichean worldview than anything else.
Loreto doesn't appear to be particularly well educated about either criminal law or the civil law of battery, but she might wish to read up on provocation defenses.
