The British press are outright liars

In a recent article on the subject of Tommy Robinson posing with a group of British military cadets, the singularly useless Sky News presents the following quote:

The Muslim Council of Britain said Mr Robinson "does not represent our armed forces, however much he tries to claim otherwise".

The spokesman added: "He will rile against the very real steps taken to make the military more diverse.

"He will remain silent on the sacrifices Muslims and others made in the two world wars.

Utterly appalling stuff, to present such gibberish without any critical reflection. Readers know anything about WW2 history would know that:

• Hitler was allied with various Muslim groups
• Muslims volunteered to fight not only with the German army, but also to form new SS units

What 'sacrifices' did Muslims make in WW2 precisely?
